§ SANE-SART Grant -- $900,000 (2009-2012)
SANE-SART stands for Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner-Sexual Assault Response Team. The grant supports the development of face-to-face and online training to educate nurses who treat rape victims.
§ Capital Litigation Grants (5) – $1,000,000 (2011-2013)
The Capital Litigation money supports the development of face-to-face and online training in forensic science to educate litigators who try capital cases.
§ Obesity Grant – $800,000 (2004-2006)
This grant supported the development of face-to-face training in medicine with regard to obesity -- causes, implications, treatment, and outcomes. The training was held at a conference focused on this topic.

This money was used to develop training to educate residents and fellows in pediatrics in technology and best teaching practice at the USF College of Medicine (now the Morsani School of Medicine).
