I have directed educational programs for over twelve years. My areas of expertise include instructional technology integration, web course development, distance learning, online applications, curriculum design and delivery, and faculty and staff development. I have been teaching web-based graduate courses for the University of South Florida’s (USF) College of Education in Tampa and Sarasota since 2004 as an Adjunct Professor.
I left my IT Technical Writer position at Jabil Circuit in St. Petersburg, FL in December, 2013 after working there for almost the whole year due to restructuring of the company. As Technical Writer, I:
Currently, I serve as Contractor/Director of Technology & Distance Education for the National Clearinghouse for Science, Technology & the Law (NCSTL) at Stetson University College of Law where I have worked full-time from 2005 - 2011. At NCSTL, I direct technology, training and development, and talent acquisition through deployment of current learning technologies and E-commerce strategies. I assess, recommend, implement, and evaluate technical platforms and E-learning; lead website redesign; develop and maintain NCSTL's website, use social media and quick response codes, publish NCSTL's quarterly, digital newsletter, It's Evident; and make presentations to national audiences. I lead technology and distance learning initiatives; issue and respond to RFP's; write grants; market and promote NCSTL's work products and its website; institute cost-saving measures, and develop and manage a budget.
Previously, I held a courtesy faculty appointment in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at USF’s College of Medicine. I have held the positions of Director of Instructional Services at USF, Assistant Professor in Medical Education at USF’s College of Medicine, and Assistant Director of the Holland & Knight Education Institute of Holland & Knight LLP.
Since 1999, I have been the president of Zucker Consulting LLC, a customer-oriented educational consulting company specializing in writing services, targeted training, and curriculum development and delivery.
